What is Peer Editing? In the "what is peer editing " video. I have learn the meaning of a peer “someone your own aged”. It tells about how peer editing should be done. When editing a peer paper the things that need to be considered is making suggestion, comments, and compliments or changes to someone writing. There are three steps to peer editing that everyone needs to remember when editing. The peer editing is compliments. When doing this you want to always remember to think positive and give positive feedback. Keep in mind how you would feel if you were given some evil compliments. The other of peer editing is suggestion. This should be done in a way that would help the writer to improve their writing and to choose interesting words. A student paper should have details described throughout the paper, and in the right order.

"Top 10 mistakes peer review" What I have learned from the top 10 mistakes peer review video and reading "Peer Edit With Perfection Tutorial" is that, it is important to do a quality peer review. When doing a peer review you will need to be nice to the person you are doing a review on and not be a “Picky Patty”. For Example, if a student’s period looks like a comma at the end of a sentence. While making a review it is important to remain focus on what you are doing and not be interactive with everyone around you. Being a “Social Sammy” can be distractive to others. You want to always give suggestion in a kind way. You don’t have to be a “Mean Margaret” and use name calling.

  1. " I have learn the meaning of a peer “someone your own aged”." learned, not learn; age, not age In addition you need soothing after the word peer. I colon would work. So would the word is.

"... things that need to be considered is making suggestion,…" things…are, not things…is A plural noun requires a plural verb.

"There are three steps to peer editing that everyone needs to remember when editing. The peer editing is compliments." What? Something is missing. This does not make sense.

"...were given some evil compliments." Evil compliments? These two words are contradictory.

"The other of peer editing is suggestion." Other what?

"For Example, if a student’s period looks like a comma at the end of a sentence. " Not a complete sentence.

"...to remain focus on what you are doing…" focused, not focus

"...You want to always give suggestion in a kind way…." a suggestion (or suggestions), not suggestion

You have far too many mistakes in your writing. Although I will not, at this time, require you to go to the Writing center, I suggest that you consider doing so.

    Writing unsatisfactory.

  3. Christina,
I agree that the students should always give positive feedback, and I will make sure my students do not get out of control. You did a great job supporting the second type of peer editing, suggestions. I loved the "Top Ten Mistakes of Peer Review" video. It was so cute! I am glad you noticed the code names "Social Sammy" and "Mean Margaret", because the younger students will love that.
